Colorado springtime

This morning, I woke up to the sound of wind outside my window.  Yesterday had been sunny and almost sixty degrees, but it was supposed to get colder today.

On my run, it was alternately sunny and cloudy, with wind gusts against me, making me squint and wish I had my sunglasses to block the wind.

An hour later, I looked out the window at church and, to my surprise, saw large snowflakes swirling around, buffeted by the blowing wind.

And by mid-afternoon, it was sunny again, albeit a bit chilly.

Welcome to Colorado in the springtime!  Sun, wind, clouds, snow, and everything in between.

I am participating in the Slice of Life challenge to write and publish a post each day in March.   Thanks to Two Writing Teachers for creating a place for writers to share their work all month long and hosting the March Slice of Life Story Challenge!
