Inspired to write an acrostic poem by a slice I read this morning.
Sleeping in
And waking up in the light
To go for a run in the crisp morning air.
Unrestricted by a to-do list,
Ready to be spontaneous
During this first day of spring break.
Adventure awaits,
Yet relaxation beckons…
I am participating in the Slice of Life challenge to write and publish a post each day in March. Thanks to Two Writing Teachers for creating a place for writers to share their work all month long and hosting the March Slice of Life Story Challenge!
This was my favorite because it begs for a decision . . .
“Adventure awaits,
Yet relaxation beckons…”
It was so fun to see what you did with Saturday. Enjoy your spring break! 🙂

It is also my first day of Spring Break! A poem is a fun way to get it started. I hope you have a great break!

I like this format. I will add it to my list of ideas. It evokes a sense of excitement as Spring Break is only two weeks away for us here in Colorado. Enjoy!

I love acrostics, but am never sure if it works or it is meaningful. I have learnt so much about acrostics from yours and Fran’s. I am inspired to write one soon.

I like the options that SOL gives writers to try something different! Give it a go 🙂
